Description
In Hickman’s Avengers we see as T’Challa stumbles upon an illusory force field that hides what’s REALLY going on on earth, as he steps through and discovers ANOTHER earth in the sky above them looking like it’s literally on the course to CRASH with OUR planet, and interestingly enough he can see what looks like PEOPLE falling from the sky a little further off into the forest, as he and his 3 students sneak a little closer, and we see a team of soldiers lead by a Platinum haired woman and a buff man carrying a strange device. Now there, the woman starts speaking in a strange language that N’kono is able to recognize as he translates it as orders that she’s giving to her men to stay at her side, as the man next to her activates the device that he’s carrying which starts to let off an odd glow and some strange energy. Here, as T’Challa’s chosen question why there’s a planet in the sky and just who these people are, T’Challa says that these people most likely came from there, as Kimo decides that he’s just going to ask them, since they can’t be afraid of first contact with aliens if they’re about to be SPACE Explorers like T’challa told them, as Kimo steps out of the bushes and welcomes these people to Wakanda, DESPITE the fact that even the Black Panther is telling him to stay put. So to keep Kimo from being out there alone, T’Challa steps out to back him up as the woman in charge continues speaking in High Sumerian which is an ancient dead language, but finally realizes that these humans speak english, so she can actually CONVERSE with these guys, as Black Panther starts asking her all SORTS of things confirming that she can understand him clearly and asking her if SHE’S the reason that there’s a planet in the sky right now, but the lady disagrees. She says that she’s a Black Swan, however NOBODY can just Summon an Incursion, so her team is here as more of an EFFECT of the Incursion, the Incursion isn’t the EFFECT of them. Along with this statement, Black Swan ALSO tells Black Panther that The Great Destroyer Rabum Alal is impatient so they must satisfy his appetite immediately, as T’Challa tells her the words coming out of her mouth don’t feel like they MEAN anything, and Black Swan tells him that they ACTUALLY MEAN EVERYTHING.
