Description
In Jonathan Hickman’s Avengers, Black Panther just watched 3 people that he THOUGHT were the future of Wakanda DIE because of strange invaders from a planet in the sky, so as he RUSHES back in taking out Black Swan’s soldiers using his insane speed and invisibility, we cut over to Black Swan and her assistant Manifold, who prepares a device for her that she tells him to use so that they can pay the offering to their lord, however Manifold tells her that he can’t… as she BACKHANDS HIM and knocks him to the ground telling him that he’s worthless, with Manifold freaking out because he says that HE’S the reason that any of this was possible, and he refuses to believe that he escaped everything he’s been through JUST to die here on this world, especially because Black Swan told him that he wouldn’t die… but responding to him she just coldly says that she never said ANYTHING about FOREVER, as she fires a laser from her eyes that completely disintegrates him, smiling to herself as she holds the device close to her chest ready to activate it HERSELF. In what had to be JUST A SECOND, T’Challa SPEEDS THROUGH HER MEN, replaying the words she said to him in her head as she asked T’Challa if he’d try to stop her if she told him that she was here to kill a world, and as she clicks one of the buttons on the device, AT THAT MOMENT we hear a massive, THUNDERING, INESCAPABLE BOOMING sound that i’m sure EVERYONE was able to hear, because the planet in the sky, has EXPLODED. Despite the fact that he was just a hair too late, T’Challa STILL makes it in time to knock Black Swan onto the ground and separate her from this device as he looks up and see’s all of the destruction from the destroyed world, but just as soon as all of this stuff arrived, it disappeared into a beautiful blue sky on just another day… and that’s how T’Challa realizes that something horrible is going on that he won’t be able to handle on his own…
