Liling's Daughter FINALLY Joins Team Avatar... (She Abandoned Her Trash Tier Mother!) #Avatar #avatarthelastairbender #comics #atla In Avatar the Last Airbender during the night as Suki is training Cranefish town guards in the ways of Chi-blocking, Councilwoman Liling’s daughter appears before Team Avatar in secret, as Sokka confronts her about just what she’s doing here. There, Ru tells Sokka that she keeps thinking about what Sokka said to her about how she could possibly support what her mom is doing given that RU is a non-bender also, but that’s where Ru comes clean. She says that DESPITE the fact that she loves her mom and her sister, with the way that they’re talking, she just CAN’T get behind their plan to ruin the lives of all of the non-benders, but also doesn’t understand how she’s supposed to go against her family when they’re all she has… Responding, Suki says yeah I know that’s insanely difficult, but you wouldn’t be here right now if you didn’t believe that what your family is doing is wrong, as Sokka says that he knows someone just like Ru who had a similar decision to make when his father was hell bent on conquering the entire world, but once Zuko finally DID stand up to his father that became part of the reason why the Hundred Year war was able to be ended in the FIRST PLACE, so decisions like this can actually go a long way, telling Ru that she still has the chance to do the right thing, and for her not to waste this opportunity, as RU reveals to Team Avatar that Councilwoman liling is planning a MASSIVE attack on Earthen Fire Industries in the morning along with dozens of other benders, but this doesn’t worry Suki and Sokka at all who says that they’ll be ready, as Ru begs Suki to teach her how to Chi block just like she does, and we cut away to the early hours of the morning. There, Aang stands guard alone looking over the town as he spots a group coming towards the building and stops them, asking what it is they’re doing. There, the man and the woman say that they saw their neighbors losing their homes and they just wanted to bring some supplies as a way of helping out, but when Aang discovers that these two are benders, he asks them to show REAL support by joining the battle to actually protect these people, but the two benders say that he’s asking for too much and walk away. Right then, Aang spots Liling and her army approaching from the other side of town, as he stands infront of Earthen Fire Industries which even has a huge metal maze placed infront of it thanks to Toph, as Liling laughs at how Aang is still on the wrong side, telling Aang that his only option is to leave Cranefish town and take EVERY SINGLE Non-bender living there with him because from this day forth this will become a bender ONLY city, as Aang tells Liling that SHE’S on the wrong side because she’s decided to hurt people and he won’t be leaving the city any time soon let ALONE with the non-benders, as Liling smiles saying that’s fine we’ll just force you out, sending a shockwave of earth straight for Aang, as he dodges and this battle, begins!
