Description
In the comic that leads up to Avengers Doomsday and Secret Wars, Reed officially joins the COUNCIL of Reeds outside the boundaries of his universe, but the moment he does EVERYTHING starts to fall apart. We find out quickly that ONE of the Reeds actually betrayed the REST of the variants, crying that the intruders MADE him do it, as the walls of their sanctum start to cave in, with us seeing a group of CELESTIALS outside trying to make their way in. Now if you didn’t know how Scary celestials can be, it’s time to find out, as One of the Reeds wonders what exactly these things WANT, but when one of the Reed Variants with an enlarged brain and telepathic powers Reads their minds and says that all they want is CONQUEST, he realizes that they found him digging through their collective mind, as suddenly his head, EXPLODES. From there, two of MAIN LEADER Variants, Warrior Reed and White Suit Reed say tell the Celestials that they have NO MASTERS and won’t give over their home that easily, with the Celestials telling them that everything they have is FORFEIT, because they’ll use Reed’s technology to travel EVERYWHERE in the Multiverse and conquer it for themselves, as they BLAST White Suit and Warrior Reed with their eye beams completely melting these guys to the BONE, Infinity Gauntlet and all. Now there, the one remaining leader Reed tells everyone to RUN, as one of the variants with the power of the Starbrand tries to hold the Celestials off, and another orders everyone into the armory, but they just get VAPORIZED as the Celestials AREN’T PLAYING AROUND, so it’s time to go to DESPERATE MEASURES. Here, Monotone Reed tells Wizard Reed that he needs access to his home universe, as Wizard Reed tells him that his body won’t be able to handle it and Monotone’s plan is going to cause the Wizard to DIE, but not seeing any other way out of this...
