Video Transcript:
Step 1. Open the Netflix app on your iPhone, iPad, or Android device, and then tap "My Netflix" in the bottom right corner of the screen.
Step 2. Tap your profile name with the down arrow in the top left corner of the screen. The Profiles screen opens. Tap "Manage Profiles." A pencil icon appears on each of your profiles.
Step 3. Tap the profile you want to rename. The Edit Profile screen opens.
Step 4. Tap the "Profile Name" field, delete the existing name, and then type in the new name you want to use. Tap the blue "Checkmark" icon just above the keyboard to close the keyboard.
Step 5. Tap the "Checkmark" icon in the top right corner of the screen. You'll land back on the Profiles screen, where you'll see the profile listed with its new name. Your new profile name will now appear on the Who's Watching screen and across any device signed in to your Netflix account.
It's worth noting that you can have up to five profiles on a single Netflix account, and while you're on the Edit Profile screen you can also change the profile icon, language, and other settings. If you can't edit a profile from the mobile app, you can always open a web browser, sign in at netflix.com, go to the Manage Profiles page, select the profile, and change the name there instead.
