Video Transcript:
Step 1. Press the "Windows" and "I" keys on your keyboard at the same time. The Settings window opens to the Home screen.
Step 2. Click "Personalization" in the menu on the left side of the screen.
Step 3. Scroll down the Personalization screen until you see Taskbar.
Step 4. Click "Taskbar." The Taskbar settings screen opens.
Step 5. Scroll down this screen to the Taskbar Behaviors section, and then click "Taskbar behaviors" to expand it if it isn't expanded already.
Step 6. Find "Taskbar Size," click the drop-down menu next to it, and then click "Small." Your taskbar will instantly shrink down to the smaller size.
If you decide you don't like the smaller look, just come back to this same menu and change Taskbar size back to Default.
It's worth noting that if you don't see the Taskbar size option, your PC may not have the latest Windows 11 update yet. Go to Settings, click "Windows Update," and install any available updates, and then check again.
