After making sure all of the windows were open Sokka goes to Toph in the main courtyard of her academy and says THERE YOU ARE! Stop sulking it’s gonna be okay, we can’t give up yet, I JUST got the BRAND-NEW Best Idea ever that’s TOTALLY gonna work out, but that’s where Toph interrupts him. She says do you ever think about Metal? With Sokka replying that he doesn’t because any left over brain power he has is spent thinking about meat, but Toph tells HIM that Metal is just part of the earth, it all comes from the ground or even in some extreme instances from pieces of someone elses ground that crashes INTO earth becoming part of it.. But what makes it different is that to become METAL, Earth has to go through the process of getting heated, melted, folded and smashed, it’s really terrible if you think about what the earth actually has to go through to change, it’s nothing but pressure and pain…
