Toph Confronts His Dad But He HATES Her... #AvatarTheLastAirbender #Avatar #ATLA #comics #shorts In Avatar the last airbender, after the Gaang successfully beats off a group of Fire Nation guards trying to keep them out of the factory in Cranefish Town, we see Satoru the engineer of the factory, going up to his bender employees and telling them that everyone is going to have to pick up the pace unfortunately, because they have to make up for the work on the OTHER production lines that are going to be closed for a while due to the earthquakes. There, as she walks through the doors of his office standing right infront of him we FINALLY get to the bottom of why he’s acting that way, as he once AGAIN denies that Toph is his daughter and tells her that he isn’t just saying it because he thinks someone will hear him, but it’s because all his life, he worked as hard as he possibly could so that one day when he had children he’d be able to pass a life worth living onto them, that when HIS daughter was born, he spent countless years trying to raise her to be obedient and classy, however now this rude, ungrateful THING is walking up to him telling him that she’s his daughter and he just won’t accept it, really sending a dagger right into Toph’s heart. Because of that, Toph stands up for herself saying Hey listen, I KNOW i’ve put you through a lot… but you have no right to talk to me that way, and even though that makes her dad react with a sad face for half a second, he QUICKLY snaps back to it telling her to show him that he’s wrong and greet him properly like a daughter SHOULD to her father, so now it’s time to see if Toph can put her attitude aside and rejoin the family, or if things are going to get even MORE complicated, NEXT.
