This Spirit Waited 500 YEARS for Revenge Against... AANG?! #AvatarTheLastAirbender #Avatar #ATLA #comics #shorts In Avatar the Last Airbender Aang has FINALLY met with Avatar Yangchen in the spirit world as she begins to explain her biggest mistake to him, with her story starting centuries ago. She says back then, the Earth Kingdom had the grandest city in the world, and the leader of that city sent for her specifically because they needed her help, but at that point Yangchen had ONLY mastered the 4 elements about a week ago, so she still wasn’t the fully realized Avatar that she’d become. There, meeting with the Mayor of the city, he tells her that their fortune tellers are warning them that the City is going to face a massive catastrophe soon as the ladies say that SOMEONE is going to be returning for Revenge, as Yangchen decides to just go and sit on a cliff outside of the town to basically keep watch and make sure that nothing happens, as back then she wasn’t NEARLY as intune with the Spirit World as she eventually became, but she STILL had a feeling that the fortune tellers were right. That’s when just as the clock struck midnight, Yangchen was SHOOK as out of nowhere a massive stone man rose from the ocean, and even though she put on a brave face for everyone around her, she said that the Spirit’s Grief overwhelmed her and showed her a level of despair and pain that she didn’t know someone could ever feel, but being the Avatar, it was still her job to DEAL with it, so she flew up to the Giant and asked the spirit to leave the realm of humans alone and go back to where it came from, as it immediately just swatted her away like a bug, leaving Yangchen scared. There, her Earth Bending Master told her that he’d go and evacuate as many people as he possibly can from the city but somehow someway she STILL has to stop that thing, as we see the large giant making it’s way to town ALREADY trying to destroy whatever it can...
