About this video: If you want to get the maximum FPS boost possible in Minecraft, these are the performance mods you should be using. In this video, we cover a complete performance modpack that combines everything for you, along with the individual Fabric mods you can install to build your own custom FPS boosting setup.

First things first, the easiest option is NotiFine. This is our complete performance and OptiFine alternative modpack that combines Sodium with additional optimization mods. You can install the entire pack at once instead of downloading every mod individually, and you will get better performance alongside many of the visual features people use OptiFine for.

However, you can also install the individual performance mods yourself. For this setup, we recommend using the Fabric mod loader. Fabric has access to some of the best modern Minecraft optimization mods, and it makes it easy to choose exactly which improvements you want in your installation.

Sodium is the most important mod on the list. It replaces Minecraft's rendering system with a much more efficient one, which can dramatically improve FPS and make the game feel smoother. Lithium works alongside Sodium by optimizing other parts of Minecraft, including game logic, entity processing, and block ticking. While Sodium focuses primarily on rendering, Lithium improves performance behind the scenes.

From there, ImmediatelyFast optimizes the way Minecraft renders certain menus, entities, particles, and other visual elements. Entity Culling stops Minecraft from rendering entities and block entities that are completely hidden behind walls or other blocks. Since you cannot see these objects anyway, avoiding the unnecessary rendering can provide another useful performance boost.

Last but not least is Debugify. This mod fixes a large collection of Minecraft bugs, including some that can cause performance issues, visual problems, or other unexpected behavior. It may not provide the same direct FPS increase as Sodium, but it can help create a smoother and more stable Minecraft experience.

With that, you now know which Minecraft mods to use for the maximum FPS boost. If you have any questions, let us know in the comments. We will try our best to help you out.

Otherwise, be sure to give the video a thumbs up and subscribe to the channel if you haven't already. It really helps us out, and it means a ton to me. Thank you very, very much in advance!
