Aang Finally Meets CAI, the CABBAGE MAN... But #AvatarTheLastAirbender #Avatar #ATLA #comics #shorts In Avatar the Last Airbender as Sokka and Katara are trying to free everyone from an illegal dangerous mine, we see Aang and his Air Acolytes travel into town as Aang tries to take them to a sacred tree the Air Benders used to eat at during their Yangchen festival, however the Tree is obviously no longer there just like anything else he remembers about this town. Not letting it throw him off his game, Aang decides that they’ll eat in a restaurant that popped up in that same place, and going inside, we find out that it’s actually a store run and owned by Mr. Cabbages! Now as Aang walks in there’s a brief earthquake that nearly sends all the Cabbages falling to the ground again, as Sai the Cabbage Man stands there telling his Cabbages that he KNEW they’d be safer in a store instead of a cart, but he’s BLOWN BACK, when he turns around and notices the AVATAR there. There, Sai tells Aang to stay back because bad things happen to his Cabbages when Aang is around, but when Aang says that he just wants to eat there with their friends, Sai says business has been slow so he’ll allow it, but CAREFULLY, and also telling them that they HAVE to order something they can’t just eat their preprepared lunches, so with that everyone orders a big hot fresh plate of CABBAGE COOKIES, which SOUND gross, however as they eat them they say that they actually taste just like Sugar Cookies with a slight cabbage after taste, so maybe not so bad? There, Aang dusts the floors off quickly using some Air bending as they set up a mat with some incense burning next to a portrait of Avatar Yangchen, And, as Aang starts to pray over the food talking about how Grateful they all are to still be able to atleast celebrate THIS part of the festival all these years later.
