Description
John Johnson, an MSF vaccination and epidemics response advisor, examines MSF’s response to the Ebola epidemic in DRC. He discusses an attack on a health facility by members of the community, which can happen during Ebola outbreaks due to mistrust and misunderstanding. Because Ebola is highly contagious, extensive protection measures are required and can sometimes contribute to anger, especially if family members are unable to see a patient.
