In Gaza, MSF treats patients who have suffered severe burns using 3D- printed masks that help reduce scarring and improve mobility.
Due to restrictions and blockages by the Israeli authorities of essential items, we are now unable to continue supporting patients with this vital service. Without these masks, patients face the risk of permanent facial disfigurement and disabilities that can affect their ability to move, see, or even breathe normally.
The blockages of these essential supplies can leave children with preventable disabilities for the rest of their lives.
Israeli authorities must allow unrestricted entry of essential materials needed to treat patients now.
