Tyser, an 18-year-old from Gaza, survived an airstrike that hit his home, injuring the rest of his family and killing his mother. He immediately sought treatment in Gaza but faced challenges due to the lack of available resources needed for his treatment. Now he is receiving medical and mental health care from Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) teams in Amman, Jordan, after being medically evacuated from the Strip.
Medical evacuation is essential for patients like Tyser to get the proper treatment they need to heal. Thanks to his evacuation, Tyser continues to improve every day.
