Description
Earlier this year, MSF doctor Adi Nadimpalli was coordinating with our Palestinian teams in Gaza. He shared frustrations about blocked supplies, worries about the safety of his colleagues, the spread of illness due to terrible living conditions, and the lack of dignity for Palestinians struggling to survive in Gaza.
“The teams saw war-wounded patients every day. And I'm talking about DURING this so-called ceasefire. Every single day. I saw our Palestinian medical teams trying to provide lifesaving care, but we couldn’t bring in critical medical supplies — even for patients with severe bone infections.”
A ceasefire should mean that people can access medical care, that displaced families can return to their homes, that decimated infrastructure can be repaired, that desperately needed humanitarian aid and supplies are allowed to reach the people who need it most — but that’s not what Adi’s teams witnessed across Gaza.
This is not a ceasefire, this is a genocide.
