In this second painting series, we're creating the lovely, soft, smoother skin tones of a slightly older baby, around a month old, rather than the blotchy, mottled appearance of a brand-new newborn.
In this video, I'm working on my Molly silicone baby and we'll begin by adding some very subtle blue undertones, delicate veins and our first gentle layer of blushing. I'll show you where I like to place these colours, how to keep everything beautifully soft and natural, and how to build up realistic skin tones without too much mottling or texture.
