Video 7 - Final details
In this video we're adding some of those lovely little finishing details that really help bring our silicone baby to life!
I'll show you how I build up subtle newborn skin effects, including gentle mottling, little rashes, a stork bite and some extra shading to give our baby that beautifully natural, just-born appearance. We'll also be finishing the fingernails and toenails, using soft, realistic colours rather than bright white tips.
Along the way, we'll chat about knowing when to stop, why less is sometimes more, and why there really isn't just one right way to paint a silicone baby!
Finally, I'll show you how I apply a thin silicone seal coat to protect our lovely painting work, ready for the final matting stage in our next video.
We're nearly there now, and our little baby is really starting to come to life! ❤️
