Proof race is a social construct?
No guys, I haven’t turned to the dark side, this is just a fun thought experiment looking at how the perception and everyday language used to describe certain groups of people around the world in a racial context are often inaccurate, sometimes wildly so from a genetic standpoint. The average person doesn’t logically base the language we use to describe people on revelations found from the fields of anthropology and genetics, oftentimes, even in official censuses. In my opinion, if you want to argue that race is entirely a social construct due to the subjective nature of various human classifications then you would also have to argue that language, ethnicity, religion and sex are also social constructs, which hey, maybe some people do, I don't know.
