In Gaza, “Children are paying the price”

Description

On June 30, MSF teams at our emergency department in Khan Younis, southern Gaza, treated six people wounded in an Israeli airstrike, including two children. Another child was killed in the same attack.

Injuries included shrapnel wounds, crush injuries, and penetrating wounds. Patients were stabilized and referred to Nasser Hospital.

Since the ceasefire agreement, Israeli attacks have killed more than 1,053 people and injured more than 3,406 across Gaza, according to the Ministry of Health.

MSF calls again for Israel to respect the ceasefire and protect civilians.
