2025… what the actual fuck. 🌀
I don't even know where to begin with last year...
It was, without a doubt, one of the most chaotic, confronting, painful, beautiful and transformational years of my life.
A long-term relationship ending. Ibogaine in Mexico. Leaving my home and finding myself traveling again. Karmic closure, unexpected plot twists, injuries, hospital visits, stitches, a CT scan, facial reconstruction surgery, finding our engagement ring, returning to Mexico together, and somehow finding my way back to Kauai and getting engaged to the man who is now my husband.
There were moments when I genuinely had no idea what was happening, where my life was going, or how everything could possibly unfold the way it did.
Looking back, I can see just how much was ending, how much was changing, and how much I was being asked to surrender to the unknown.
I don't believe every painful thing happens for a reason, and I'm not here to romanticise the hard parts. But I do believe life can surprise you in ways you never could have orchestrated yourself!
Sometimes the ending is the beginning. Sometimes the detour becomes the destination. And sometimes you have to live through the chaos before you can even begin to understand what a chapter was asking of you.
This is a little look back at the year that changed everything. The messy, magical, completely unpredictable in-between. 🤍
