Whip is suffering. He trusts me and needs to see me to cheer him up a little now that his life has become so difficult. But cruel people have banned me from visiting him. These are people who control his life but do not care about animals. The most heartbreaking thing happened to Whip, Donut, Syrup and Ryosuke. Some very ignorant people sent them away from their home, the only place they had ever known where they lived in a large enclosure with a large pond, and the rest of their family . They were so cruelly and needlessly sent to a small concrete floored prison where they encountered species they had never met before many of whom them. Whip found life at Aso extremely stressful. Sometimes he would shake with fear, trembling all over. This extreme stress seems to have caused him neurological damage and he can no longer walk. The reason that Whip, Donut, Syrup and Ryosuke were sent away was in the mistaken belief that they were the reason that Nagasaki Bio Park had not had any babies for 6 years. I told the management of Nagasaki Bio Park that these wonderful capybaras were not the reason that no babies have been born. I explained to them exactly what the reason was for the lack of babies but they ignored me. You can read about this in this blog: "4. It would impress people so much if the management of Nagasaki Bio Park were to allow me to visit Whip in his hour of need.
