Everyone loves Lexus. He is so gentle and friendly. He is the only capybara in the world who understands and speaks "dog language". Lexus is getting married on Sunday, 5th April. He will be united with one of the young female capybaras who came from Aloha Gardens. They have been showing great interest in each other through the fence which separates them, over the past few months. I am not sure her parents approve! I wish I could be there to witness the reaction of Lexus to another capybara coming into his enclosure, and his reaction to being with a female. I could learn so much about capybaras if I could be there to watch the reactions of all the other capybaras as well. How will Marie, Andre and their family react? What will be the reaction of the Aloha Gardens family? I so wish I could be there to film all this. I told Lexus he must make babies immediately so that I can meet the newborns when we visit Japan. The gestation period for capybaras is about 5 months. If it rains on Sunday, the wedding will be postponed to the following Sunday, 12 April.
