Hi there, as promised, here is the newest video I have been working on throughout the end of November and this month. It is a cover of a well-known and beloved Christmas song from a very iconic Christmas movie. Of course, this movie is The Polar Express, and the song is When Christmas Comes to Town.
This was originally going to be made and uploaded last December. However, because I was working on the Random Shenanigans collab video and it took up nearly all of December, I had to cancel the cover. This year, I decided to keep that promise and create and upload it during December. The audio and editing for this cover were handled by OfficialRyanFouracre, who suggested doing this song. I mainly worked on the rest of the video after the audio was recorded and combined. This also marks twenty-one years since the film's release, so I thought it would be a nice way to show appreciation through this video and cover.
For the visuals, I tried to make each one different while tying them together with colours and other elements, ensuring they weren’t too dull but not too overwhelming either. The final drawing is inspired by the last frame from Christmas Nights: Into Dreams, as a nod to it and because I felt it suited the ending well. With this cover, I wanted to make it stand out from my previous ones and put more effort into it. That’s why I took my time creating this one, but I aimed to finish it before the end of this month and year.
Once again, for this cover, with the audio, we mostly kept it to the raw versions of the vocals. So we didn’t add anything to the vocals, nor did we tweak them. If the parts sound a little off, I apologize for that, but I hope you still enjoy it regardless, whether it is for the vocals or for the visuals of this cover.
I will be working on my next video, but I will take my time with it. Please be patient until it is ready and uploaded for everyone to see and enjoy. I promise I will work hard and do my best to complete it as soon as possible, while still giving it the care it needs. Thank you for your patience until then.
