Hey everyone! As promised in my last video, I'm excited to share my newest animatic with you all. I've been working on this one for the past few weeks, and I'm thrilled to bring it to life.
This animatic was inspired by a beautiful cover of Final Fantasy X’s Hymn of the Fayth by Raquel.reigns. I highly recommend checking out their other covers - their voice is truly amazing. I was listening to this cover a few times and immediately got the idea for this animatic. Plus, I grew up playing Final Fantasy X, so it’s a nice touch of nostalgia. I also gave an old character a makeover to make them more fun and unique. I wanted to share this design with you all, as I originally posted it on DeviantArt earlier this year. Like my animatic for Ophelia, I thought this would be a fun and creative way to showcase my new design while incorporating it alongside this cover.
Visually, I kept things simple to speed up the process. However, I made sure the animatic was expressive, detailed, and still interesting to look at, without being overwhelming.
I want to thank Spazcakes for their help with the audio. The original had some distracting background noise, and I was worried it would be too distracting. I tried removing the audio myself, but there were some popping sounds. So, I asked Spazcakes for their help, and they did an amazing job removing the background noise without any popping sounds. Thanks so much for your help and contribution to this!
Next, I'll be working on my next animatic/video soon, but it'll take some time to finish. So, please be patient and understand that I'm taking my time. I want to create a high-quality project, and it'll be worth the wait. In the meantime, feel free to check out my other work, and I'll be back with an update soon.
