This landscape photography adventure takes us to the lovely warm state of Georgia where we take a ferry to beautiful Cumberland Island.
We're just in time to catch the fog rolling through the most beautiful forest I've ever seen. These mist-wreathed live oaks look like something out of a Tolkien novel and I can't believe it's possible to camp right under their reaching boughs.
It's such a nice respite from the frozen tundra of Canada and we're so excited that we perform highly skilled acrobatics on the beach.
While we do our best to dodge ticks, we're also keeping an eye out for wild horses but it's a talkative armadillo that steals the show. He's got plenty to say about this particular Yorkshireman.
I even manage to squeeze in a quick Luminar Neo tutorial where I show you how I enhance the fog in my landscape photography images to create depth and atmosphere.
Amanda goes crazy in Peach Land where we buy some tasty snacks as well as some utterly disgusting concoctions.
After that we head directly to the lovely city of Savanah where we indulge in an unhealthy amount of exotic cocktails and some decadent snacks.
This is only the beginning of our Lowcountry road trip and there's so much more to see.
Will I gobble those crispy-fried larva and do we really have to worry about gators on the trail? How long will Amanda carry my tripod and how many Fotogasms can I have in two minutes?
There's really only one way to find out.
