People we’ve met on the road have been pretty shocked when we say we live full-time in our truck camper with a toddler (and two dogs no less). And honestly? I get why it’s not for everyone.
It’s tight quarters. It’s noisy. There’s fur everywhere. I still haven’t totally embraced the mess, and some days feel downright exhausting…especially when I compare this to what #vanlife was like before having a kid.
But even with the challenges, there’s freedom in this lifestyle — and in the middle of the chaos, I keep finding joy, connection, and the kind of moments that remind me why I chose this in the first place.
