Description
A man accused in a series of violent rapes and the murder of a mother of two will soon learn his fate 24 years later.
Prosecutors delivered closing arguments Monday in the case against Miguel Urbano-Vazquez.
The case is now in the hands of a jury, which will decide whether he is guilty.
Urbano-Vazquez’s identity was a mystery to investigators for years until DNA evidence led them to him. He managed to escape arrest until 2023.
