Description
Last week, family members of Ashley Whitehead gathered in Snohomish County to celebrate what would have been her 57th birthday.
Whitehead was one of three people killed in a shooting at the Bite of Seattle festival in Seattle in July. She was in line to get cotton candy when she was unwittingly caught up in a shootout between gang-affiliated teenagers, according to investigators.
“Three months later, I don’t feel confident at all that they can solve this,” Wesley Whitehead, Ashley’s brother, told KOMO News in an interview Monday.
