Description
I had been craving metallics, so I decided to just go for it with this one! I used gold, bronze, copper, a custom metal gray made from silver and black, plus pearlescent blue and violet.
I layered everything together, swiped through it with black, and then stretched it out to see what the colors would do. The pearlescent paints changed depending on what they were layered over, and the metallic lacing turned out so pretty. I also did a little more “fiddling” than I planned 😂 but I’m actually really glad I did because it helped break up a few areas and added more movement through the painting. I am very happy with how this one dried, especially the gold lacing and those big blocks of metallic color. And I think this color set may have at least one more painting in it!
