Description
For my last Pinktober painting, I was determined to use up the rest of my pink paints... and I FINALLY figured out what one of these colors needed!
I have been struggling a little with the Venetian rose because it has a warmer, peachier tone than the rest of the pinks. In the other paintings, I felt like it was competing with the colors around it. I kept saying that I thought it needed something like turquoise, aqua, or blue next to it. So this time I tested that idea!
I used my remaining pinks along with purple, blue, and turquoise, then swiped everything together with white. And wow... what a difference.
The colors played so much better together, the lacing turned out beautiful, and I love how the color changes as your eye moves across the canvas. By the end, I think this may actually be my favorite painting from the whole Pinktober series. Hope you enjoy the video! Thank you so much for watching. Happy painting!
