Diving at Shaw’s Cove in Laguna Beach during September with incredibly clear visibility! I explored the water with my wife, who is also an advanced-certified scuba diver, while using a 1.5-liter mini scuba tank and an underwater scooter.
We swam alongside California’s bright orange state marine fish, the Garibaldi, before I took the water scooter through the trench. This dive happened about one week after Hurricane Marie sent massive swells toward the Southern California coastline.
