I tested the COWSAR Slushie Machine by making a frozen drink using pineapple juice. Instead of adding ice and potentially watering down the flavor, I poured the pineapple juice directly into the machine and let the built-in compressor turn it into a cold, frozen drink.

Real-World Use
For this review, I wanted to make something simple, so I used pineapple juice to make a frozen pineapple drink.
One of the biggest things I like about this machine is that I don't have to add ice. I can pour the pineapple juice directly into the machine, select the appropriate mode, and let the built-in compressor cool and freeze the drink.
That also means I'm not adding a bunch of ice that can melt and dilute the pineapple juice.
The machine has six preset modes, including options for slushies, frozen drinks, spiked slushes, milkshakes, frappes, and cold drinks. There are also seven texture levels, giving you additional control over how frozen you want the final consistency.
With a 68-ounce capacity, you can also make a larger batch rather than preparing one small frozen drink at a time. COWSAR says the capacity is enough to serve approximately 6–8 people.
There are a few ingredient requirements to keep in mind. COWSAR specifies that drinks need at least 5% sugar, so sugar-free drinks aren't suitable. When making alcoholic frozen drinks, the alcohol content should remain below 16%. Preparation time can also vary depending on the ingredients and their starting temperature.
Cleanup is made easier with the built-in self-cleaning function. You can add water and use the Clean mode to rinse away leftover residue. The pitcher and lid are also removable and dishwasher safe when they need a deeper cleaning.
Overall, I enjoyed using the COWSAR Slushie Machine to turn regular pineapple juice into a frozen drink without having to add ice. If you enjoy making slushies, frozen drinks, milkshakes, frappes, or other cold drinks at home, this is definitely worth checking out.
