I bought a Dakota 283 crate a few months ago. They’re tough and they work well for how we use them — until one of the door openings bowed inward after sitting in a hot van.
The door lips folded in just enough that the door wouldn’t latch without forcing it past the opening with my Leatherman.
Here’s the quick fix I used:
1. Heat gun on the bowed lips
2. Seam pliers to gently bend them back into place
3. Door closes and latches like it should again
