We’ve just come back from an amazing family break at Center Parcs Sherwood Forest and this time we stayed in one of the newly refurbished Grand Forest Lodges. This is the newly refurbished three-bedroom lodge with the interactive games pod, and we give you a proper look around so you can see exactly what it’s like before booking.
In this vlog we show you the lodge, including the upgraded interiors, layout, and of course the games pod which was a big hit with Sofia. If you’ve been wondering whether the refurbished Grand Forest Lodges are worth the extra cost, this should help you decide.
We also experienced the Winter Forest Lights at Wishlight Village which completely transforms the resort in the evenings. There were beautiful light displays throughout the forest, live entertainment, festive food stalls and a really lovely atmosphere that made the whole trip feel extra special. If you’re considering visiting Center Parcs during winter, this gives you a realistic look at what to expect.
Food-wise, we ate at Las Iguanas and had breakfast at Café Rouge, so we share our honest thoughts on both. We also went bowling twice and spent plenty of time in the Subtropical Swimming Paradise, which is always a highlight at Sherwood Forest.
