TVS Motor has unveiled the production-spec M1-S electric maxi scooter at EICMA 2026 – one year after the concept version appeared in Milan. The model moves closer to European sales and sits beside the Orbiter and TVS X at the show. Development took place in Singapore and the M1-S uses full-size maxi-scooter proportions in addition to a low-mounted battery. Based on Ion Mobility’s M1-S, the 4.2 kWh NMC lithium-ion battery sits low in the floorboard to reduce the centre of gravity. The maxi scooter measures 1,970 mm in length and 730 mm in width while wheelbase stands at 1,350 mm. It tips the scale at 150 kg, ground clearance at 170 mm and seat height at 800 mm and runs 14-inch wheels at both ends. As for wheels, it uses 110/70 section 14-inch at the front and 120/70-14 at the rear. A telescopic fork handles the front suspension while dual adjustable units sit at the rear. Braking comes from 230 mm discs at both ends which are complemented by a dual-channel ABS system and tyre pressure monitoring function.
