Honda has launched the ZR-V e:HEV in India at an introductory price of Rs 47.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Pre-bookings have been open since May, and deliveries have now commenced. It is imported from Japan as a Completely Built Unit (CBU). The Honda ZR-V is a midsize SUV. It features a hexagonal grille with vertical slats flanked by LED headlamps with integrated L-shaped LED DRLs. The SUV has wraparound LED taillights, a roof spoiler and a shark fin antenna. It rides on 18-inch alloy wheels. Inside, the ZR-V gets a simple dashboard with horizontal vents and a free-standing 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system. It has a 3-spoke steering wheel and a digital instrument cluster. Other features include wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, dual-zone automatic climate control, a panoramic sunroof, a wireless charging pad, an 8-way powered driver’s seat, a 4-way electrically adjustable passenger seat, a powered tailgate and a 12-speaker Bose sound system. The Honda ZR-V is powered by a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine paired with two electric motors. It has a combined output of 181 BHP @ 5,000-6,000 rpm and 315 Nm @ 0-2,000 rpm. Power goes to the front wheels via an e-CVT. It has paddle shifters for battery regeneration. Honda claims that the hybrid SUV can sprint from 0-100 km/h in 8 seconds and has a top speed of 172 km/h (electronically limited). It has a claimed fuel efficiency of 22.79 km/l. The ZR-V comes equipped with Honda Sensing, the brand's Level 2 ADAS suite, which includes features such as Collision Mitigation Braking System, Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keeping Assist System and Road Departure Mitigation System. The SUV also gets a 360-degree camera, 8 airbags and TPMS. The Honda ZR-V is available in four colours: Twilight Mist Black Pearl, Meteoroid Gray Metallic, Platinum White Pearl and Crystal Black Pearl.
