Benelli Tornado Naked Twin 550, unveiled a year ago, was designed to bring the TNT name back to the mid-size naked segment; the 700 presented at EICMA 2026 is aimed at those who want more power from that base without moving up to a more demanding bike. The lines are deliberately almost identical, with the muscular 15.5-liter fuel tank, the sharp tailpiece, the dual central headlights flanked by T-shaped DRLs and the turn signals integrated into the handguards; at the rear, the indicators also function as brake and parking lights, keeping the tailpiece clean. The differences are evident in the details: a new aluminum swingarm, a dedicated silencer and above all a 180/55 rear tire instead of the 160/60 of the 550 , on a 5.50" rim. The heart comes from the TRK 702 : the 698 cm³ (83 x 64.5 mm) inline twin-cylinder engine with dual overhead camshaft timing, four valves per cylinder and 180° cranks, revised intake and exhaust. Here it has 42 mm ride-by-wire throttle bodies, Bosch management and three riding modes (Normal, Rain and Sport), and delivers 73.4 HP at 8,000 rpm with 67 Nm at 6,000 rpm . For A2 license holders there will be a 35 kW version.
