“Side Show” originally aired on June 30, 1961. The episode stars Murray Hamilton as Harold Potter, Margaret Phillips as Cassandra, Myron McCormick as the Barker, and Doris Roberts as Edna Potter.
Harold Potter is a timid, unhappy bookkeeper trapped in a miserable marriage and longing for an escape from his ordinary life. One evening, he wanders into a carnival sideshow and becomes fascinated by its star attraction, Cassandra the Electric Woman. Displayed as a headless woman strapped to an electric chair and kept alive by thousands of volts of electricity, Cassandra appears to reach out to Harold, convincing him that she is being held prisoner by the cruel carnival barker.
“Vanishing Point” originally aired on February 23, 1960, and stars Edward Binns, June Vincent, and Fredd Wayne.
Fred and Ruth Graham, an unhappily married couple, rent an old house in the countryside hoping for a fresh start. Instead, their constant arguments only deepen their misery. One evening, after a particularly bitter quarrel, Ruth walks into the house—and mysteriously disappears without a trace. When neither police nor neighbors can find any evidence of her whereabouts, suspicion quickly falls on Fred, who is accused of murdering his wife.
Although Fred is eventually cleared for lack of evidence, he becomes obsessed with discovering what really happened to Ruth. His investigation uncovers a disturbing pattern: several previous occupants of the same house have also vanished under mysterious circumstances. As he digs deeper into the property's history, he begins to suspect that the house itself may be connected to an unexplained phenomenon beyond human understanding.
“The Terror in Teakwood” originally aired on May 16, 1961, and stars Guy Rolfe, Hazel Court, and Charles Aidman.
Renowned concert pianist Vladimir Vicek (Guy Rolfe) is consumed by envy and obsession over his recently deceased musical rival, the legendary composer and pianist Carnowitz, whose extraordinary hands allowed him to perform pieces no other musician could master. Unable to accept his rival's superiority even in death, Vicek commits a shocking act of grave desecration in an attempt to claim the dead man's genius for himself.
As Vicek prepares for a triumphant concert tour featuring an unpublished sonata written specifically for Carnowitz's remarkable hands, his wife Leonie (Hazel Court) grows increasingly disturbed by his erratic behavior. Fearing for his sanity, she turns to an old friend, Jerry Welch (Charles Aidman), for help in uncovering the truth behind her husband's strange actions.

As the date of Vicek's performance approaches, he finds himself haunted by forces that may not rest quietly in the grave. Blending gothic horror, psychological obsession, and macabre suspense, “The Terror in Teakwood” is one of Thriller's most memorable tales, exploring the terrifying lengths to which ambition can drive a man—and the terrible price of stealing another's gift
