This cue is still everywhere, and it’s often working against you.😬

When you force your lower back into the ground, it can force you out of neutral alignment. Pressure has to go somewhere, and when your rib cage isn’t stacked over your pelvis, it pushes toward your front abdominal wall and pelvic floor.

That’s the coning. That’s the bread loafing. That’s pressure mismanagement.
The fix? Stack your ribs over your pelvis. Find neutral. Now pressure can distribute evenly and your core can actually do its job.

A lot of times it’s not a strength issue. It’s a pressure management and alignment issue. Fix your alignment and you’re going to see a lot more effective changes in your training.

That DR or stubborn lower belly “pooch” that never seems to go away despite doing “all the right things”? It’s often a pressure management issue.
