Utahraptor a genus of large dromaeosaurid dinosaur, dominated the landscapes of North America during the Early Cretaceous period, approximately 135 to 130 million years ago.
Known as the largest member of the Dromaeosauridae family, Utahraptor stood out among its feathered, carnivorous relatives, measuring six to seven meters, or twenty to twenty three feet in length and weighing up to five hundred kilograms, or over one thousand pounds.
