Description
Pulldowns are one of the easiest ways to figure out what your throwing program should focus on.
Compare your pulldown velo to your mound velo. It shows how good your arm is versus how much of it actually transfers to the mound.
The average pulldown to mound velo gap is 4 MPH.
If your gap is closer to 7-10 MPH, you have more in your arm than you're using. Spend the majority of your program on transfer.
If your gap is closer to 0, the best way to improve is to get better as a pure thrower. Your program should focus on building arm talent.
