Description
This footage, courtesy of Ukraine's 11th Aviation Brigade on 24 July 2026, shows two of their flyers taking to the skies above Odesa to shoot down incoming Russian Shaheds in a Yak-52 legacy aircraft. As the pilot puts him in a position of advantage, the back-seater takes out the drone with a rifle. Even with fragmenting rounds designed to shoot drones, this is no mean feat from the open-canopy back of a moving, prop-driven plane.
