The second HDMI output can be setup as a CCTV spot monitor / spot monitor for IP cameras. If you are not familiar with the term "spot monitor", it means a dedicated security camera live view display on a TV. The Viewtron CCTV spot monitor feature can consist of a single camera or multiple camera layout, and it works with CCTV cameras and IP cameras.
Watch this video to learn how this is configured using the Viewtron DVR user interface. The CCTV spot monitor feature supports a single live view layout or you can configure more than one security camera layout and use the dwell time feature to auto cycle through the multiple displays that you configure. Dwell time is another way of saying that there is a delay (in seconds) between the auto-sequence rotation from one security camera display layout to the next.
In this video, Mike from CCTV Camera Pros sets up a single six camera layout on his Viewtron home security camera system. Then, modifies the spot monitor configuration to cycle through 4 different camera displays - a four camera grid, then three different single security camera views with a 5 second dwell time.
