Yugoslavia before Kugelblitz | April 1941
Briefly put, the following event took into shape when the Axis forces invaded Yugoslavia and separated its territories into serveral foreign claims in April 1941, and during and after the invasions, the Independent State of Croatia (NDH) was created as an Axis puppet state, consisting of today's Croatia and Bosnia + parts of Serbia. Serbia for reference became an occupied region with general Nedić running it under German supervision. Though, those who opposed the Axis control were the Chetniks/Četniks, responding by resisting the Germans and also going against a rivaling faction within Yugoslavia, widely known as the Partisans, that also wants to restore Yugoslavia before the Četniks could do so.
Yugoslavia during & after Kugelblitz | December 1943
Members of Yugoslav-based Četnik (royalist) and Partisan (communist) factions have fought in different cases, that is, against or along, as well as soldiers swapping different sides during the entire war. The specific event in focus is the "Operation Kugelblitz" of December 1943, seeing another Partisan vs Četnik situation, this time with Germany, Croatia, and also Bulgaria on mutual level with the Četniks to plan their objective of driving away Partisan presence from Tuzla, Bosnia and basically all of Yugoslav locations for good. By many post-WWII records, the Partisans were posed as difficult obstacles for the Axis powers on multiple occasions. Hence, despite heavy German pushes, Operation Kugelblitz resulted in Axis failure, allowing the Partisans to carefully liberate Yugoslavia bit by bit upon envisioning a new form of government once the war is done.
