Building My Mobile Machine Shop | Mounting My 1300 lb BAILEIGH 13×40 Lathe

Installing a 1300 lb BAILEIGH 13×40 lathe into my mobile machine shop required more than simply setting it in place. In this video, I build custom pedestal mounts, cover them with aluminum panels, and permanently bolt the lathe directly to the trailer frame. Although the pedestals look like solid aluminum blocks, they're actually built from plywood wrapped in aluminum sheet—a lightweight, strong, and durable solution. Every machine I install brings my dream of a fully functional mobile machine shop one step closer to reality. Thank you for watching!
