Description
A year ago I brought the MediMac home for my birthday with a plan to grow her out and see what she could do. Today she's 365 days old, back under 24-hour light for her reveg, and the kickoff plant for a multi-year grow project I announced yesterday. In this video I talk about the "why" behind keeping one plant alive for years instead of starting fresh every season — and I open up the top canopy with more pruning to help her move faster into the vegetative state.
The route she's taking is simple: she was a mother last year, cloned down, went to flower outdoors this past summer, finished strong, and is now revegging indoors to become a mother again for 2027. The plan is to repeat that cycle — mother, flower, reveg, mother — year after year and see how far she goes. 1 year is in the books. 4 more at minimum is the goal. 10 years is the dream.
What You'll Learn:
• Why one cannabis plant can serve as a multi-year genetic anchor
• How pruning the top canopy accelerates the reveg transition
• The mother-to-flower-to-reveg-to-mother perpetual cycle
• Why keeping one standout cultivar matters more than chasing new ones
• How temperature shifts (down to -20°C outside) affect the indoor transition
• Finding your "why" as a home grower heading into a new season
