Description
Can you take an outdoor cannabis plant that's already in flower, bring it indoors, and revert it back to vegetative growth to save the genetics for next year? That's exactly what I'm doing with the MediMac — my standout strain from the 2026 outdoor season.
In this video I walk through why the MediMac earned a permanent spot in next year's lineup, how I'm preparing to cut the root ball back and bring her inside, and the plan to revert this flowering plant back to veg so I can keep the genetics running for 2027. I'm also looking at whether these outdoor plants can push for a third crop before the season fully closes, and setting up the clones that are already rooted for next year's run.
What You'll Learn:
• How to decide which strain is worth revegging and keeping
• How I'm moving an outdoor plant indoors to finish
• Why cutting the root ball back matters before the move
• How to pick the best mother plant from a 5-strain season
• Planning a feminized breeding project for the next year
The 2026 Strain Verdicts:
MediMac — the standout, moving indoor, becoming next year's mother plant
MediTie — the 12-foot storm survivor, strong finish
Rockstar, MKU, MediKush — rounded out the 5-strain outdoor season
