Why Wednesday. October 21st. Day 8 of the Second Harvest Experiment. Today I am owning a mistake and teaching the lesson:
HOW often should you water cannabis in late flower? What happens when you forget? Why do plants need LESS at the end?
Yesterday I noticed one plant looking stressed. The answer was simple — I forgot to water her. Today she is bouncing back. Here is why the mistake was easy to make and how to avoid it.
The Late-Flower Watering Reality:
🌱 Early flower → water heavily (plant drinks a lot)
🌱 Mid flower → consistent daily watering
🌱 Late flower → water intake SLOWS dramatically
🌱 Last 2 weeks → plant barely drinks
🌱 This is where growers get LAZY (me, yesterday)
🌱 Lazy = forget = stressed plant
🌱 Catch it early = plant bounces back same day
"I was watering every day, every day, every day — and all of a sudden it just stopped. Then I got a little lazy. What happened? She fell back a little bit. She bounced back today."
The Berfelo Late-Flower Watering Framework:
🌱 Check soil moisture DAILY (feel it, lift the pot)
🌱 Water LESS as flowering finishes
🌱 Watch for drooping = thirst signal
🌱 Catch stress within 24 hours = full recovery
🌱 Diagnose fast = fix fast
