Trajectory Tuesday. October 20th. Day 7 of the Second Harvest Experiment. Today I am revealing the FULL blueprint:
HOW do you turn a second harvest into HASH? Why freeze the bottoms? What is the plan?
Two crops. One plant. Each crop with its own destiny. Here is the OPTIMAX plan in motion.
The Two-Crop Berfelo Plan:
🌱 Crop 1 — TOPS → Hang dry → Smokeable flower
🌱 Crop 2 — BOTTOMS BECOMING TOPS → Fresh freeze → Bubble hash
🌱 Same plant, same soil, same investment
🌱 Two completely different products
🌱 One for the jar, one for the wash
"Remember, the tops are drying. This one here, we are going to freeze. These bottoms are all going to be hash. This is the hash one now."
Why Fresh Freeze the Second Crop:
✅ Fresh frozen preserves trichomes at peak
✅ Cold-shocked plant material = better hash yield
✅ Second-crop buds smaller but RESINOUS
✅ Perfect size for washing
✅ No need to cure for hash
✅ Direct to bubble bags = minimal handling
Day 7 Status — Cold Weather Pushing In:
🌱 Overnight — 0°C to 2°C (near freezing)
🌱 Day — 3°C to 10°C range
🌱 Rain — intermittent, canopy ON
🌱 Cold damage — visible on some leaves (expected)
🌱 Bottom nugs — bulking into tops (resinous)
🌱 Target — Fresh freeze TODAY
🌱 Mold watch — vigilant, spot check hourly
The Berfelo Cold-Weather Reality Check:
🌱 Weather damage is NORMAL this late
🌱 Curling leaves = cold stress response
🌱 Dark spots that do NOT wipe off = NOT PM, just cold burn
🌱 PM would wipe off (powder-like, white, spreads fast)
🌱 Spot inspection + scope = tell the difference
"That is NOT PM. These dots are not even coming off. It is not wiping off. Just cold."
Why PM vs Cold-Damage Matters:
❌ Cold damage = cosmetic, plant still finishes
✅ PM = aggressive, spreads, must act fast
❌ Confusing them = premature harvest
✅ Reading them correctly = push to full maturity
"Pattern recognition is power."
