Description
The first frost of the season hit the garden last night, and I did not move the MediMac indoors in time. In this video I walk through the outdoor plants to see which ones handled the cold and which ones didn't — a live field test of the genetics I've been working with all season. The MediMac perked right back up through frost on the roof and frost on the canopy, and that tells me something important about this cultivar going into the 2027 breeding plan.
I also triage the plants showing early cold damage, cut back the branches that aren't going to make it, and get the MediMac ready for the reveg move indoors — the next step in preserving the standout strain from this year's outdoor season as a mother plant for next year.
